PatentPublish supports multiple export formats optimized for different patent offices.
DOCX Export (USPTO)
The primary format for USPTO filing:
DOCX Formatting
- Font: Times New Roman 12pt
- Margins: 1" top/bottom/right, 1.5" left
- Line Spacing: 1.5 lines
- Headers: Section headings in uppercase
PDF Export
For review and EPO submissions:
PDF Features
- Includes all figures inline
- Preserves formatting exactly
- Good for client review
SVG Drawings Export
For USPTO drawing submission:
- FIG_1.svg
- FIG_2.svg
- etc.
Drawing Requirements
- Black and white only
- No shading or color
- Text must be legible
- Reference numbers required

Troubleshooting

- Ensure all required sections have content
